He is so excited -- that he just can't hide it!
We're talking about the Black Diamond, aka Theron Denson.
The Neil Diamond impersonator is back in his hometown of Charleston and will open for the Pointer Sisters this Thursday at the Clay Center as part of FestivAll.
It was 10 years ago that we first profiled Denson's start into world of show business.
He now has his own Black Diamond show in Las Vegas and has toured all over the country, including an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
We caught up with him at Bar 101 in Charleston, where he'll be singing June 30th.
He says he can't wait to work with the Pointer Sisters.
"They took me in as a wet behind-the-ears West Virginia kid gone Californian. They adopted me and made me a part of their surrogate family. And not only that, they personally and professionally mentored me," Theron Denson says.
The Pointer Sisters' concert begins at 8 p.m.,Thursday, June 24, at the Clay Center.
It's one of FestivAll's main event.
The Black Diamond, by the way, will stick around Charleston and perform at the Empty Glass on June 25, and at Bar 101 on June 30.
